The Singapore Mediation Lecture series aims to enhance the understanding and use of mediation in resolving commercial disputes.

The Singapore Mediation Lecture 2014 was delivered on behalf of Mr Brackett Denniston by Mr Brad Berenson, GE’s Vice President for Litigation and Legal Policy.

In the lecture, Mr Berenson addressed the role mediation has played in facilitating GE’s growth, the global trend towards increased use of mediation,how GE has contributed to this trend, and the important role Singapore will be playing as a model to be emulated by other countries. Mr Berenson also addressed some of the challenges GE would face as it continues to grow around the world, the expectation of more demand for mediation services,and what needs to be done to enable more mediation to take place.
